When I was younger and didn’t drive as much I was nervous when I had to drive.
Or park.
Now it’s like walking or breathing.
I can’t even count how many different cars of different size and motorization I have driven.
For work, on vacation, about 40-50 different cars I guess.
The countries I remember I was driving in:
Germany
Spain
Italy
Netherlands
France
Slovakia
Poland
Luxemburg
Lots and lots of the US including New York
Canada
Switzerland
Austria
Portugal


Most insane driving experience: Neapel, Italy.
Compared to it, driving in New York is extremely relaxed and everyone follows the rules.
There was for example a funeral procession in the middle of the city, on a very busy street with many dozens of funeral people walking behind the car with the casket in the middle of traffic with everyone passing them with like 1 cm distance.
( I used to translate the right, good, and perfect metric system for you, but I’m sure you can understand it )

That’s cool but might be still not inclusive enough for some, as some people don’t identify as any of those. ( agender People for example)
That’s why I prefer y'all. I don’t have to mention everyone, because everyone is included here.

That’s true. She is great. Also it warmed my heart that Casey is so helpful.

My experiences with sexual violence were not as severe but that was only luck.
And I still sometimes think about it, about being touched at the bus stop by some stranger when I was a teenager or by an other creep in an elevator or the ex boyfriend who didn’t want to accept a no and tried to guilt me into saying yes every time for example and want to go back in time and break their noses.

When I am alone and it’s getting dark, before passing a group of men in the street, I change the side.
I don’t want to take the chance. Also how good are headphones. Before having a phone on me all the time I had to hear to whatever stupid remark men made. Now I don’t. They say something to the wind. Good luck with telling the wind to smile!

I talked to Mr Apia about it for the first time many years ago and he didn’t know what I was talking about at first.
Of course not. He is 6.5 or what sounds way more impressive, nearly 2 meters tall and a men.
